The ol' man gave me a hand to get the gearbox back in today. Happy with progress at the moment, also got the shift rod back in with a new bush and coupling. Bolted the shocks on, connected the handbrake cables, spring plates with new bushes, etc.

(This is an old update)

Had the drums machined and gave them a coat of paint. Put the drums back on and got the notch back on the ground.(April 2016)

Almost 12 months since the last update  :-\ been too busy trying to sort out issues with the Honey Brown notch.. all sorted now so back onto this project..

Was never really 100% happy with having 4 stud on this notch, so I've been collecting parts and made a start on putting it back to wide 5 over the weekend.

Tried to track down a pair of OG rear drums but ended up going with a pair of new ones. Got the rear all sorted and back on the ground. Hopefully over the Easter weekend I will have the front all finished off...

Shit quality phone pics, need to get back into using the camera

Back on wheels with wide 5 on all corners. Will be getting a set of early type 3 rims re-hooped into safety rims. Cant wait to see them painted and put on.

I was telling my wife it would be cool to own a Notch with a big engine. I loved my 62 with the little 1200.
